Hello fans of saliva dropping monsters!
During the holidays I challenged myself to paint 1500 points of Grimdark Future Alien Hives using the pretty quick & easy technique of slapchop.
They were initially planed to be an army for our upcoming 1500 points Grimdark Future tournament buuuuut well.. it turns out they are not even close to existing competitive levels in our field of participants, so they won’t be used.
Anyways, it was a great and enjoyable experience to print and paint a “full” army in just one go and apparently all “organic features” look pretty ok using the slapchop technique. But don’t take my word for it, instead take a look by yourself:
All miniatures were 3D printed and only free available files were used to keep the costs low.
