If there is something I like even more than 3D printing, it is 3D printing models that are so well designed and engineered that they dont even need supports to make them work.
No matter if its FDM or SLA printing.
So apparently there is some very nice fantasy heroes miniatures that are just perfect to represent your D&D party for example. And even better: You can have them for free!
The name of the guy that made all these miniatures possible is Teirale. You can find his creations on Printables.com. These minis are so well designed, they print perfectly without supports and even come with their own base already attached. And its very nice bases I have to say as they have some kind of runic pattern around the angled base edge.
I chose to give the edge just some quick gold+wash+drybrush treatment to make them shine.
So far I just painted five of these fantasy heroes (using my favourite slapchop technique, with just one additional highlight after I finished applying the speedpaints) but I aim to paint.. ALL OF THEM!
…which should be 33 miniatures in total. Well. Thats a lot of work, right?
But as I chose to also sell physical prints of these miniatures on shop.dicepersecond.de, I guess it is a suitable way to show the miniatures in a more appealing way for the eyes. đ
